Notes
Part of a one owner from new collection just in; the owner of these fine Dinky commercials was born in Wimbledon London, in 1937. Removed from the attic recently after storage for over 50 years.
A deep, lustrous paint finish on this fine Dinky commercial truck made between 1952-54. This 2nd type model comes with straight chain posts and original chain (a little tarnishing in two very small areas), fine tread black radial tyres, including the spare. Dimpled chain post bosses.
Presents well – in authentic, original condition. A little marking to some exposed edges/vulnerable points.
A few of the earliest 2nd type models were housed in the last remaining (rare) 1st type boxes. Note the 1st type radiator pictured on the box. Clean, bright and fresh, with hardly any wear at all!
Card packing piece is still present too.
