A very fine example indeed of this scarce U.S. issue Military Jeep. All original condition throughout and looking completely unused, with a wonderfully matte military green finish and a notably intact white star on the bonnet, and on one side (correct).
Nearly always found quite chipped at the tinplate windscreen – this example is happily free of chips.
Bright metal parts including the crimped axle ends. Supple smooth original tyres.
Never individually boxed (issued 1948-52), this model would have been sold from a shopkeeper’s trade box.
Not an easy find.
