Nicky Dinky Toys 186 Mercedes 220SE
Mercedes-Benz 220 SE by Nicky/Dinky Toys 186. Scarce MID-GREEN version. Very, very near mint/boxed. From A Phenomenal Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
Finished in a vivid mid-green with original chrome details, off-white interior, black steering wheel, intact window glazing. Silver and black plastic one-piece tyres/wheels.
Shiny black base with ‘DINKY TOYS 186’ clearly visible.
With silver metal bumpers (complete).
Virtually mint!
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) has a crisp feel. Little age/handling wear and a small area of surc=face loss on a non-picture side. Repaired tear on an end flap.
