Dinky 108 M.G. Midget Sports was issued briefly as an U.S. export model in both red and cream.
Here are both versions straight from one collection:
1) Brilliant flame red finish with mid brown seats, red ridged wheels, intact original windscreen, correct without driver or racing numbers. Correct with formed hole for driver.
The baseplate is bright and without tarnishing. Correct that the number 108 is printed on the base since a special baseplate for the U.S. issue was never made.
Very close to mint all original paint finish. Chip to front bumper and a couple of very small/tiny marks besides.
The pictorial box is very close to old shop stock quality. Correct colour spot detail. Crisp, fresh card.

2) This cream version (an even more difficult find than the red version, in our experience) is in all original, very close to mint condition. Stray sn=mudge of factory silver on a wing edge.
Attractive, lustrous dark plum-red seats, lighter red ridged wheels, intact original windscreen, correct without driver or racing numbers. Correct too with a formed hole for driver.
Bright baseplate.
Correct that the number 108 is printed on the base since a special baseplate for the U.S. issue was never made.
The box is complete and brightly-coloured. Crisp, showing minimal handling. No repairs or punctures. Correct colour spot. Very light wear. Period pencilled dollar price on an end flap.
