Notes
A rare find indeed! This D Type Jaguar model is a transition issue with lemon plastic wheels (rather than the deeper yellow plastic issue that came later) and a blue metal driver. Black plastic steering wheel*. Bright original lighter turquoise finish throughout.
Very close to mint and hard to resist.
Gloss base and well-shaped treaded tyres.
Probable factory touch-in on a rear wing.
Small mark on the bonnet front. Lustrous finish.
Minor marking to the base and a small indentation.
Note that this version not only has lighter lemon-yellow wheels but also has a turquoise-green finish too.
Take a look at this model on the left when set alongside the turquoise-blue version with deeper yellow wheels (for comparison only).
The correct paler yellow picture box impresses with day-one vivid colours and crisp clean card. Old shop stock quality.
