Notes
This classic Dinky bus is a rare find with a type 2 AEC grille. A lustrous bright red and cream paint finish, red ridged wheels and well-shaped smooth tyres. Lettering is fine on both sides.
290 cast on the base. Early – so horizontal casting strengthening bar on the base.
Factory smudge of silver emanating from a headlight. Little paint run on a wheel arch.
The attractive pictorial box is vividly-coloured, with a crisp feel. Correct colour spot for this version too. Little stain, tiny tear and a small area of surface loss (due to removal of a price label we expect).
