Notes
This classic early Foden truck has a rich brown matt finish, with a silver flash and black chassis, black original herringbone tyres (well-shaped). Correct that this early issue has no tow hook.
Issued between 1947-48. This high profile classic Dinky impresses with its rich matt brown colour.
Base is complete with spare wheel affixed.
In notably all original condition. Note the small area of blistering/crazing to the paint on one side of the cab (factory) and a small chip on the roof. Minor marking to some wheel arches.
The early buff box is brightly-coloured with has a complete long paper label. Small nick the label on a short lid end. Note the early (correct) daub of colour at this site to denote colour of model. Minor wear only.
These early Foden models are becoming increasingly hard to find.
