This collection represents a lifelong deep appreciation of Dinky Toys, Britains models, Minic models and more primarily from the 1940’s & 50’s. All British made diecast and tinplate models. Proceeds going to charities close to his heart.
A cache of 6 Dinky 29E Single Deck Buses (1948-52) housed in the original Dinky shopkeeper’s Trade Box as follows:
1) Single Deck Bus in the rarer light two-tone green with ridged matching wheels. Very near mint condition (close scrutiny finds a few small touch-ins). Well-shaped smooth black tyres are well-shaped. Silver trim.
2) In cream with mid-blue flash with blue ridged wheels and smooth black tyres. Very, very near mint.
3) In two-tone blue with blue ridged wheels and smooth black tyres. Very near mint condition (close scrutiny finds a few small touch-ins).
4) As above but near mint plus.
5) Two-one green finish (mid-shade), with deep green wheels and smooth black tyres. Near mint plus.
6) As above but faint mottling to the colour finish on the roof.
The outer buff card Trade Box is sturdy and tear-free. Bright paper label at a lid end. Faint water stain on the lid. With original dividers.
