Dinky Toys 39BU Oldsmobile
Oldsmobile by Dinky Toys, No.39BU. Near mint/never individually boxed. Exceptionally scarce U.S. export model. From The 25 Year Collection in California. Starting bid £500. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
Export issue to the U.S., this Oldsmobile model is finished in deep cream with rich brown wings, silver trim. Issued for export to the U.S. during 1950-52, and an extremely difficult find in any condition.
A few little marks to the paint finish as you might expect for what is essentially an unboxed model approximately 70 years old.
In all original and authentic condition – note that this example has an open rear base – extremely rare! Black ridged wheels and smooth tyres run well.
