An all original example of this popular Dinky model, issued between 1948-52. This is the first issue from 1948 presented in the earliest buff box, the model is marked ‘Supertoys’ on the base. Vivid red cab and chassis, fawn tank and silver flash, 20 mph sign at rear, tinplate ladders.
Very close to mint condition.
Occasional little retouch visible upon closest scrutiny and a couple of tiny tarnished areas on the tank.
The buff box is sturdy and sound showing minimal handling. Vividly-coloured paper label. Rusty staples. Red paint colour spot at a short lid end.
