Notes
Made by the French Dinky factory in 1971-72 as a special order for a shop in Paris called Multisports on Boulevard de Sebastopol. A very small number were made. This is one of the models sold at the time of production at Boulevard Sebastopol to a very limited number of very keen Dinky collectors and customers of the shop.
Issued between 1970-72, this bright red issue has an ivory detailed interior, silver trim (early round headlamps). Well-shaped ‘Dunlop’ tyres.
Tiny mark to the paint finish and the original ‘Pompiers’ transfers have minor wear.
The complete and bright 1st issue box with dark grey model featured (correct – no box was issued illustrating this ‘promotional’ model), looks fresh, if rather crumpled now wit a couple of tiny tears.
The only similar model we have ever sold is this one.
