Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This particular example is a difficult find in deep sky blue, yellow-green interior, both seated figures, black tonneau. Left-hand drive.
No ‘Dinky Toys’ on base, but ‘PLYMOUTH FURY’ present.
Both aerials are intact. One-piece plastic wheel and tyre construction. Tinplate base. Opening bonnet with engine detail. Silver trim.
Couple of small stray smudges of factory silver. A few tiny marks to the paint finish.
Colourful card box is complete and bright. Re-attached internal end flap and the occasional small end flap tear (a heavy model stored in a comparatively flimsy box). Light wear besides.
