A rare find indeed – this is the darker cherry red and fawn 2nd type issue presented in the 504 box with 2nd type model illustrated. Few made for a short time. One of the best surviving examples, you will find. In very close to mint condition with just the usual tow hook scuff and barely a mark to be seen besides.
Grey radial tyres are well-shaped.
Closest scrutiny finds a few small touch-ins.
The blue box with a paper label is fresh and bright with a virtually complete paper label. Minor wear only.
