A scarce and popular Corgi Gift Set_.
This exciting set comprises:
1) Corgi 321 Mini Cooper ‘S’ in bright red finish with a white roof, jewelled head and spotlights, complete racing number ‘52’ on one side (few small nicks to the other). Complete Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot. Shaped spun wheels with suspension. Very close to mint paint finish.
2) Corgi 322 Rover 2000 in lustrous metallic maroon finish with a white roof, notably complete Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot. Complete racing number ‘136’ on both doors, too. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled headlights and “Trans-O-Lite” lights. Very near mint paint finish.
3) Corgi 323 Citroen DS19 in pale blue finish with a white roof. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled lights, intact aerial on the roof. Complete racing number ‘75’ on both sides, intact rally labels on bonnet and boot. Very near mint paint finish.
The colourfully-illustrated detailed card plinth on which each car sits is a decorative backdrop for the models and adds to the appeal. Original card packing support piece in the base of the plinth. No wheel slot tears. Front edge storage ‘wrinkle’ and note that one of the tiny internal end flaps at each side of the plinth is detached but present.
Lots of relevant printed information on the reverse.
The pictorial all-card outer box has a little wear including a repaired handling tear and period price on an end flap.
With the individual white card packing pieces for each model and larger white card packing piece is present too.
