Notes
An exciting stash of U.S. export Armstrong Siddeley models contained in the shopkeeper’s Trade Box with original dividers.
Two different colour issues are offered, each with coloured wheels. From 1950:
1) 3 x mid grey versions with deeper grey ridged wheels, deep mid-blue interior. Intact original screens. Another has a factory sweep of paint at the rear. Occasional tyre flat spot.
2) Mid-green version with deeper green ridged wheels. Deep grey interior. Intact original screens. Occasional tyre flat spot. One has an area of minor discolouration on one side caused by contact with the card inner.
The sturdy lift-off lid shopkeeper’s trade box is complete and presents well. Straw-coloured card with untarnished staples. Light age/handling wear and a very small area of surface loss which is easily overlooked. Period shopkeeper’s price per model on the lid. Notably, all the original dividers are still in place to avoid contact damage.
