A rare find since few of these were made in this gold finish, a special commission for the Airfix Dinner & Dance at the London Hilton during 1979. Just 500 were made and given out to guests.
This example comes complete with the all-important label on the front of the box signed by the Managing Director of Meccano Limited.
In unused condition, complete with two spare firing missiles and intact, bright labels. Still affixed to the pristine colourful inner card piece.
The large window box is complete clean and bright with an unpunched, uncreased header card.
Original cellophane has a crumple and a tiny puncture. No graffiti to the crisp, clean, card. Small end flap tear.
