One of the most sought-after Corgi rally models! Sponsored by the Sun Newspaper in 1966, this RAC Rally Mini Car has a gleaming all original red and white finish, Austin grille, and distinctive detailed transfers (small nick to rear transfer). Suspension on shaped spun wheels, jewelled head and spot lights. Very close to mint paint finish. Well-shaped original tyres.
Ephemera:
1) Original Winning Competition letter dated January 1967. Light staining at creases and a couple of very small tears.
Reverse:
2)Large SUN RAC International Rally Sticker. Complete and never removed from backing. Measures approx. 45.5 cms x 15cms.
