Nicky Dinky Toys 137 Plymouth Fury Sports
Nicky Dinky Toys 137 Plymouth Fury Sports. Near mint plus/boxed. Bright mid-blue issue. Scarce model from A Phenomenal Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This particular example is a difficult find in bright mid blue, brown interior, both seated figures, black tonneau.
No ‘Dinky Toys’ on base, but ‘PLYMOUTH FURY’ present. Remains of a period label.
Both aerials are present (although one has wear). One-piece plastic wheel and tyre construction. Tinplate base. Opening bonnet with engine detail. Silver trim.
Stray flick of factory silver on the boot.
Colourful card box presents well with vivid colours. Small end flap tear (a heavy model stored in a comparatively flimsy box).
