Notes
One of the best surviving examples. This four-sided revolving display stand or carousel is a delight!
Issued to some Matchbox Retailers (dated 1971), this rectangular Display Stand can hold 80 Matchbox models in total. The perspex compartments are all intact notably and numbered. All original.
Eye-catching and colourful illustrations ensure that this Shopkeeper’s Display, especially when loaded with Matchbox models, including the latest releases would be impressive and irresistible in equal measure.
Stored away for decades, this Carousel has survived better than most – colours are not faded and the illustrations are fresh, bright and unmarked. Tiny wear to the lid.
