Issued between 1971-72, this desirable London Transport Gift Set is one of the finest examples you will ever see:
1) Corgi 418 Taxi, in gloss black finish. Spoked whizzwheels. Mint condition.
2) Corgi 468 Routemaster Bus ‘OUTSPAN’. Spoked whizzwheels. In virtually mint condition, this detailed bus has complete labels/transfers throughout and includes both a driver and conductor.
3) Corgi 204 Mini, in an attractive deep metallic blue finish. Lemon interior and blue-tinted windows. With Rockets style whizzwheels. In virtually mint condition (couple of stray light flicks of factory silver).
Policeman on point duty, with his white arm bands, directing the traffic on top of a plastic circular stand.
The polystyrene inner is bright, clean and intact. Pristine.
The outer window box is complete and bright, with intact smooth original cellophane. Tiny wear.
An unusual Gift Set issued for just a short time by Corgi, and aimed at the tourist market.
