This fine two-piece Gift Set from Corgi is always popular with collectors. This example is in all original and unused condition comprising:
a) Corgi 1128 Priestman Cub Shovel. Deep orange-red issue. In very close to mint condition with a few tiny marks. Intact original black rubber tracks. Complete ‘Priestman Cub’ transfer at the side. Mechanism for raising and lowering the jib works well. Cab containing driver is glazed.
Base:
b) Corgi 1131 Bedford TK Machinery Carrier. In very close to mint condition, with both wing mirrors, (one reflective ‘mirror’ piece still in place now). Pleasing lustre. Black detachable rear axle and moveable ramps. Spun shaped hubs. As-new tyres. Bright metal parts. Complete with both spare tyres.
Very fine indeed.
Base:
Box base is made of polystyrene and is fresh and bright with light blue Corgi Toys lettering. Minor marking caused by the tracks.
The colourful pictorial lid is complete, clean and bright. Barely any wear. Couple of strokes of ink or similar (minor).
