Notes

A detailed and impressive military model issued between 1959-62, with a movable boom which can elevate to vertical so that the missile can be lowered onto the launching pad (available separately at the time). This model works well. Virtually perfect matt military green finish on the vehicle itself, a few little chips and scratches on the missile which would benefit from a replacement nose cone (common fault since they perish with age – and replacements are readily available). Spare wheel in place – often missing.

This example includes a Rocket Age Booklet which details the range and gives specific emphasis to the Bristol Bloodhound Guided Missile.

The attractive pictorial lift-off lid box is clean and vividly-coloured. There are a couple of tears (i.e. one surface paper tear at a seam and a repaired corner split). There is no inner packing with this example.
