Dinky Toys 917 Guy Van 'SPRATTS'
Guy Van "SPRATTS" by Dinky Toys, No. 917. Near mint plus/boxed (wear). From The Sherwood Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1954-56 this is one of the most memorable advertising vans from Dinky’s heyday. This is the more unusual dual-numbered transitional issue when the model changed from 514 to 917. Virtually complete – complete eye-catching transfers on both sides with the letters forming the shape of a dog.
An eye-catching display piece.
Notably in all original, honest condition with very minor marking and slight sunfading to the cab (subtle).
The box is complete if looking worn now, but no repairs.
