Notes
A desirable Corgi Monte Carlo Mini model (Morris) in bright red and white finish with complete racing numbers 177 on one door, small nick to the other. Chrome roof rack is gleaming bright (although flake of chrome to the back section). Two spare wheels. Suspension on all four cast wheels. Six jewelled headlights/spotlights (note that Morris Mini models have larger headlights – compared to the Austin issues, other casting differences too). Monte Carlo labels are complete at front and rear. Front number plate is notably complete. Rear number plates too. Couple of notable chips to the front bumper (factory assembly).
Nice to see that the white roof does not have nibbles/chips at edges, so presents very well.
The scarce plain non-picture card box has deep colours on crisp, clean card. Silky feel shows that this box has rarely been handled. Crisp. Looking as-new.
Also includes the 1967 Monte Carlo B.M.C. leaflet detailing the story of the rally. Club Membership Form on reverse.
