Notes
A desirable 3-piece Gift Set made between 1964-68 comprising:
1) 418 Taxi in black with fluorescent orange original details, lemon interior and driver. Shaped spun wheels. Very near mint condition. Part-thickness chip on the roof and a very faint scratch.
2) 468 London Routemaster Bus ‘Naturally Corgi Toys’*. Jewelled headlights. Shaped spun wheels. Vivid red finish with complete transfers throughout. Very near mint (one small mark to the paint).
Policeman figure (directing the traffic) on a white circular plinth.
Decorative card plinth on which all items sit with an unmistakable London scene depicted. Presents well with only the most minor wear and a few tiny tears.
Reverse view:
Outer card box is very fresh, clean and bright. A hard find in this condition. Another colourfully illustrated London scene is featured in which both models and policeman are depicted. Deeply-coloured which is a refreshing change. Tiny wear includes a very small internal end flap tear. Period price label on an end flap. Vienna period shop stamp on the inside surface of one internal end flap and another on the plinth reverse.
