Dinky Toys Gift Set 699 Military Vehicles (1)

Notes

This four-piece military Gift Set is a scarce find. Dated from 1955 (Dinky stamp inside the box lid).
The set comprises:

1) 621 3-Ton Wagon

2) 641 1-Ton Truck

3) 674 Austin Champ

4) 676 Armoured Car

All four pieces are in near mint condition generally with some little marks at some vulnerable points or exposed edges. A little ‘blooming’ to the finish on the canopy of the 3-Ton Wagon and note that the Austin Champ lacks the steering wheel.

The large striped box is complete with the pale yellow insert (no tears at the wheel slots). However, there is a tear to the front edge of the box lower.

The outer box is complete and brightly-coloured. Some of the usual age/handling wear and the usual edge rubbing etc.
