A delightful Politoys models, especially in this attractive and distinctive Peacock-Blue finish. Note this is the earlier version of the Volkswagen 1200 Beetle 1200 produced for a short time in plastic (later in fibre-glass as would be noted on the base).
Detailed cast wheels, opening doors, red interior, grey dashboard, intact shiny chrome bumpers. Suspension. Well-shaped tyres. Window glazing. Headlight detail. 1:43 scale. Complete number-plate.

Later version in fibre-glass would have FIBRE GLASS on the base and less detail.
Note the 2 stray flicks of factory red paint on one front wing (may be possible to remove).
