Notes
A superb example of this popular Corgi model made between 1964-69. In very close to pristine condition, this model has been looked after most carefully. It contains an Austin Police Mini Van in deep blue finish with a red detailed interior, shining shaped spun wheels with suspension, aerial, jewelled headlights and perfect ‘POLICE’ on both sides.
A couple of near microscopic dots and a faint hairline scratch on one door – you would be forgiven for calling this van mint!
Also included are the original figures of the police dog handler and tracker dog complete with his lead (often missing!). All safely slotted in to the crisp and brightinner plinth with a colourful backdrop.
On the reverse, there is background information on both the B.M.C. Mini Van and the training of the Alsation police dog, and the work they do.
The card plinth has a little bend to the upstand. Small tear at a slot.
The outer box is in superb just about shop-fresh condition; never seen better!
Shopkeeper’s neatly pencilled price of 5/11 on one end flap.
A fine all-original example which is difficult to resist!
