Rare finds! This is the Maxwell Milton version, Calcutta, India looking just like Corgi 464 Commer Milk Float, with the base as in the Corgi Constructor Set, Gift Set 24.
Not to Corgi standards, these Commer Ambulances have a charm all of its own.
a) Deep green version with intact Red Cross labels on the roof and AMBULANCE transfers at the sides. One-piece wheels/tyres. White interior. Red steering wheel. Combination of clear glazing to cab and red glazing to sides and rear.
b) White version with RED CROSS transfers on the roof and both sides. One-piece wheels/tyres. White interior. Red steering wheel. Driver. Combination of clear glazing to cab and blue glazing to sides and rear.
