This Comet Wagon has a vivid deep green cab and chassis, deep orange back, and lighter green grooved wheels. Bright base has a lightly tarnished area. Working, intact hinged tailboard. Original black, radial tyres are well-shaped. Spare stowed. Bolt fixing. ‘418’ cast.
Correct for this box, this model has ‘Dinky Toys’ and not ‘Supertoys’ cast into the chassis.
Very close to mint finish. Small light scratch on the roof and the occasional tiny mark besides.
The Dinky Toys box is bright and complete. Light age/handling wear and period price label residue. Staples are rusty.
