Corgi Toys Gift Set 41 Carrimore Car Transporter & 6 Cars

Notes

A sought-after and scarce Gift Set issued between 1966-68, this exciting and colourful set comprises:

1) Corgi 1138 Ford Car Transporter in red, blue & silver.
Very near mint. Both wing mirrors are intact and complete with the little mirror pieces too. 4 plastic chocks.

2) Corgi 226 Morris Mini Minor in maroon with a lemon interior. Shaped spun wheels. Very near mint but close inspection reveals three dot retouches.
3) Corgi 249 Morris Mini Cooper in red & black with ‘wickerwork’ side and boot detail. Jewelled headlights. Very near mint. Few tiny marks on a front wing.
4) Corgi 252 Rover 2000 in metallic maroon. Very near mint. Suspension.D ot retouch to a door.
5) Corgi 333 Austin Mini Cooper ‘Sun Rally Mini’ version. Near mint. All four jewelled lights. Suspension on cast wheels. Complete rear transfer label. Few little nicks to the door racing transfers. Nick to bonnet transfer. Little retouch on the roof.
6) Corgi 340 Sunbeam Imp Monte Carlo with cast wheels. No suspension (common fault).
7) Corgi 440 Ford Cortina Estate in grey. Very, very near mint.

All contents are housed in a polystyrene tray which is clean, bright and fresh with a complete Corgi dog label. Light wear to the polystyrene caused by contact with the contents.

The eye-catching card lid has bright graphics on intact and fresh sturdy card. No tears or graffiti. Some surface grubbiness and very light wear. With Mail Order Label still in place.

Nice to see that there are two card packing pieces included with this set.
