Notes
Issued between 1966-69, this Oldsmobile car has a gleaming, deep purple-blue finish, complete bonnet logo (some age transparency), bright chrome parts, detailed cast wheels. Fine original tyres. If you press the roof periscope the figure moves from side to side to shoot the enemy! A sought-after Corgi model; this is the earliest version of the Thrushbuster with metal spotlights (to dazzle the enemy!).
A few marks to the paint finish.
No Waverley ring.
The clean and bright monochrome card plinth is crisp. Vivid colours and tiny wear to a couple of wheel slots.
Lots of info about the U.N.C.L.E organisation on box reverse as well as pictures and signatures of the T.V. series protagonists.
Note there have been a few repairs to the upstand.
The outer box is one of the best we have seen with vivid colours on crisp, fresh-looking card. Includes the original card wrap-around packing piece and a card ring. Corgi Club Membership Form is included.
