Notes
Issued between 1952-54, this 2nd type Foden with a lustrous original violet blue cab and chassis, mid blue back and wheels would be hard to better!
A few incidental marks in the usual places i.e. at wheel arches, and there is one ‘dot’ on the cab roof. Barely handled, the sheen on this Foden is quite remarkable!
Small area of paint loss (possibly factory paint miss) at one rear corner edge.
Bright baseplate and axles:
The box is in outstanding condition too with such vibrant colours – cannot recall seeing a box with such deep vibrant colours in a long while! Hudson Dobson label attached – so this model was exported to USA originally.
An outstanding investment item and a joy to own -an increasingly rare find.
