Notes
A superb example of this popular Corgi model issued between 1964-69. The Austin Police Mini Van has a very deep blue finish with a red detailed interior and scarce with bold ‘POLICE’ lettering (usual version has finer print).
Suspension on shaped spun wheels with suspension, aerial (with a repair that is close to undetectable), jewelled headlights.
A few near microscopic marks only – you would be forgiven for calling this van mint!
Also included are the original figures of the police dog handler and tracker dog complete with his lead (often missing!). All safely slotted in to the close to perfect inner plinth (correct with no pictorial backdrop scene).
The outer box is complete, bright and intact.
A little minor handling wear, as well as a shopkeeper’s price and a daub of ink at an end flap.
A fine all-original example of this scarce issue which displays very nicely!
