French Dinky Toys 25O Ford Milk Truck 'NESTLÉ
Ford Milk Truck Nestle by French Dinky Toys, No. 25O. Very near mint/boxed. With all 10 original milk churns. Very nice box with both packing blocks. Rare model from The Swiss-French Collection.
Notes
Now here’s a Dinky model you don’t see too often!
Issued between 1954-55, this is a very scarce item and notable that it comes complete with all 10 little metal milk churns.
So prone to chipping at the raised edges of the sides of the truck, this example is largely free of this . Little as-made factory paint run. Fine lettering on both sides. A highly decorative piece:
Shiny base and metal parts. Well-shaped original tyres. This model has clearly been carefully handled and very well-stored. “NESTLE” letters are virtually complete – complete.
The distinctive deep red and yellow box is better than the majority we have seen over the years. Very light wear only. Unusual to find with the buff card blocks with red ends (original) in which all the little milk churns may be stored.
Complete, pale yellow paper label at one end of the lid (correct).
A wonderful find – and a highly unusual and decorative French Dinky classic commercial truck to add to your collection.
