Notes
Issued between 1964-66, this fine model from Dinky has a vivid gold body with a white roof, jewelled front and rear lights, ‘C’ registration number plates, window glazing, opening doors revealing a detailed interior, bright spun wheels.
Obviously unused, this car still has the remains of the old band which would have fixed the car to the box ‘roadway’ inner. Just one chip on the bonnet and a little light ’speckled marking to the roof (rough casting in one area).
This flimsy style of box – often used for export models in particular – rarely fares well and this one is no exception! It is worn now and lacks cellophane, although both little plastic clips are still present!
