A rare find indeed ad remarkably , the second example from this collection! This D Type Jaguar model is a transition issue with lemon plastic wheels (rather than the deeper yellow plastic issue that came later) and a white metal driver. Black plastic steering wheel*. Bright original turquoise finish throughout.
Hard to resist.
Gloss base and well-shaped treaded tyres.
Just the occasional little mark. Displays nicely with a lustrous finish.
The correct paler yellow picture box impresses with day-one vivid colours and crisp clean card. Note that one internal end flap has possibly been skilfully re-attached. One pair of end flaps do not feel as if they have ever been prised open. Tiny tear. Period price label.
