Early issue comprising 6 metal animals. Each factory hand-painted figure has a rich coat of paint, glossy and gleaming fresh. Figures are still strung to original card inner.
Close inspection finds the occasioanl little exposed edge mark.
The deep matt red, lift-off lid card box presents well with strong colours generally. A little sunfading to one side and slight fading to the inner too. Couple of little edge scuffs to the lid and a small area of surface loss to a short lid end caused by the removal of a price label we expect.
