Notes
This Rolls Royce was issued between 1966-69. This model quite startled us when we unwrapped it – looking almost factory unfinished in this matte bronze shade (quite different to the pale metallic gold issue that we were expecting to see!). Bright orange interior, shiny spun hubs and suspension. Jewelled headlights, number plates front and rear (a little wear to the front number plate), chrome fittings (minor marking). Opening doors and side opening bonnet reveals a silver engine. Well-shaped Dunlop tyres with a fine tread.
Intact bonnet emblem.
Occasional little mark that you have to hunt for on this distinctive finish.
These flimsy card and cellophane export boxes are nearly always heavily worn. This example impresses and one of the best we have seen . Notably intact original cellophane and all the card components present and fresh-looking, maintaining the shape. Pleased to see the little card ‘Mr. Dealer’ strip still in place too! Period price is penned. Remains of the old tape which kept the ends closed (fleck of surface loss). Both original yellow fixing tabs still present too.
