A charming, nostalgic piece, this Ice-Cream Van has a distinctive mid-blue finish with delightful ‘TONIBELL Dairy Ice Cream’ and cow transfers virtually complete -complete throughout (one of the cow transfers has been applied at an angle). Complete ‘SOFT ICE CREAM’ transfer above the cab.
A difficult find, this example is in very near mint, original condition.
Working feature – the Ice Cream man complete with cone dips forward when the wheels are depressed.
Couple of little chrome rubs and a couple of little nicks to the red mid-line detail on one side.
The window box is complete and the cellophane is intact. Light age/handling wear to the card. Bright yellow card inner.
A hard find in any condition. Issued during 1964.
