A beautiful Shackleton Foden Truck. Issued 1948-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Platform Lorry finished in deep blue, red and grey with a grey fuel tank. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. This Foden model measures 32cms x 9.5cms. approx.
One of the best examples we have seen.
Complete with spare wheel stowed underneath.
Occasional little mark to the paint finish. This Foden Truck presents very well indeed.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. Usual wear and note that one lid corner has had a seam repair.
Original key and some tools are included.
