Notes
Issued 1950-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Tipper finished in distinctive mid-blue, grey-blue and red. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Originally sold with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild, only the original key remains now. This Foden model measures 26cms x 9cms. approx.
Complete decorative ‘Shackleton’ and ‘Foden’ transfers.
Lacks propshaft, although spring mechanism is fine when the key is wound.
Complete with spare wheel stowed. Marking to the paint mostly at the rear section and a front wheel arch.
The Dyson Trailer in matching finish has a swivelling drawbar. Area of paint loss on a wheel arch and minor marking besides. Complete, delicate ‘DYSON’ trasfer.
