Notes
Issued 1950-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Tipper finished in attractive sky blue and red. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Sold with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild (only the screwdriver now), this Foden model measures 26cms x 9cms. approx.
Complete decorative ‘Shackleton’ and ‘Foden’ transfers.
Complete with spare wheel stowed. Occasional chip to the paint, a little minor ‘blistering’ on one side and note that one tyre needs to be replaced (spare stowed). Clockwork function is faulty and needs attention.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. Correct colour spot.
Some of the usual wear as you might expect and note that there are a couple of notable tears to the box base underside.
