Corgi Gift Set 19

Notes

A desirable two piece Gift Set in original condition issued between 1962-68. This set comprises:
1) The Land-Rover has a vivid blue plastic canopy and shaped spun wheels. Suspension. It looks very smart and fresh with a gleaming paint finish, complete with spare wheel on the bonnet. Late issue nylon tyres with `Corgi Toys’ embossed. Complete Chipperfield’s Circus labels on both side of the canopy. Couple of tiny touch-ins at the rear of the model.

2) The harder to find grey plastic cage has metal bars (later plastic detail would replace this), an intact opening rear door and matching hook on the top. Chipperfield’s Circus label at one side (correct). Light edge wear. Complete with the original plastic elephant! The blue and red trailer has shiny spun wheels. As-new original tyres. Barely a mark to the paint finish.
Remains of the old elastic bands are present although perished now (understandably).
The card plinth is bright and complete. Light wear only.
The colourfully illustrated card box is complete and bright. Minor wear and a tiny tear.
Comes complete with the original wrap-around card packing piece.
