Dinky 290
Dinky 290 Double Deck Bus 'DUNLOP'. Near mint plus/boxed. Really crisp box! From The Nelson Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1959-61 with a type 3 Leyland grille, this classic Dinky bus presents well with a lustrous original vibrant red and cream paint finish, matching bright red, cast wheels and well-shaped smooth tyres. ‘Dunlop – The World’s Master Tyre’ lettering is virtually perfect-perfect on both sides:
Occasional little mark to the paint finish and a couple of little casting marks low down on one side.
The bright yellow picture box is intensely crisp, day-one bright and complete, although there is a tiny tear and a little storage corner crumple. Correct colour spot for this version.
