Corgi 302

Notes
A small range of Corgi models (5 in total) were issued with a gold mirror-finish in 1961 and were sold by Marks & Spencer. Few are available and are sought-after nowadays, even if they did not sell particularly well at the time.
This MGA model is a beautiful example, in all original condition with the distinctive mirror finish.
In impressive, virtually mint condition.
Complete with the windscreen (often missing!).
The car is mounted on a black moulded base with a gold-edged name label. Also present is the piece of clear perspex which fits over the model when on the stand (notably complete with the tags which secure it into the black base).
The special Trophy box is complete, clean and bright, with a crisp feel. MGA label at an end flap. Light wear includes a small rusty stain.
An interesting piece of Corgi history – and not an easy find.
