Issued 1950-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Tipper finished in fern green and scarlet red, with a red fuel tank. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Sold with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild, this Foden model measures 26cms x 9cms. approx.
Complete with spare wheel stowed behind the cab. Delightful ‘Shackleton Toys’ transfer is very close to complete. ‘Foden’ transfer is complete.
A few little chips to the paint finish.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. Some wear as you might expect. Very grubby with rubbing and edge scuffs).
