Dinky 148
Dinky 148 Ford Fairlane. Bright mid blue issue. Very rare South African model. Very, very near mint/boxed. From A Phenomenal Collection at QDT.
Notes
Such an attractive Ford Fairlane model finished in this eye-catching bright mid blue with correct clean white tyres. Such a rare find too!
Correct that the baseplate is standard for this model, as these were assembled in South Africa using English components (1963).
Small rub marks to the front and rear screens, and a very small paint miss on the rim of the roof (rear). Small rub to the front bumper.
Few Dinky collections can boast one of these, correctly presented in the Arthur E. Harris South African box!
Couple of very small corner tears and a tiny puncture.
The only example we have ever offered for sale. One of the rarest Dinky toys you can buy!
