Issued during 1966-69, this sought-after Gift set comprises:
1) Corgi 261 James Bond’s Aston Martin, in intense gold, with a bright red interior. Both figures. Very, very near mint. Suspension is fine.
2) 310 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Silver. Mint.
3) 314 Ferrari Berlinetta, red, racing number ‘4’. Suspension on spoked wheels. Intact racing numbers and Ferrari logo. Well-shaped tyres. Shiny chrome details. Very near mint. Polish has been applied at some time and there is a little residue in some crevices – may be further improved by careful cleaning (without polish!).
4) 324 Marcos Volvo. Spoked wheels. Green racing stripes. Very near mint.
5) 325 Ford Mustang Competition. Detailed cast wheels with suspension. Extra dab of white paint applied at two window posts.
This set comes with the still-sealed bag of traffic cones, 2 sets of racing numbers, a still-sealed Secret Instruction Packet, Model Car Makers To James Bond.
Polystyrene tray which is uniquely formed for this set is, bright and clean. Very fresh indeed.
Outer box is complete and strongly-coloured. Intact original cellophane.
Light handling wear to the outer box (tiniest star of a tear).
