Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A close to mint example finished in a rich metallic blue, with original silver details, original driver, and steering wheel. Shiny spun wheels and black plastic one-piece tyres/wheels.
Complete racing numbers.
Couple of chips at a front wing. Light raised detail rub and a tiny mark besides. Shiny black base with product name and Dinky number details visible.
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is complete and clean. Looking fresh and largely free of the usual ‘white edges’ or heavy tears that plague these comparatively flimsy boxes. Small puncture has pressed back into place. Minor wear besides.
